Racing for a Reason
On Sunday, June 28, downtown Collingwood came alive as teams, volunteers, sponsors, and spectators gathered for the inaugural Hospice Georgian Triangle Bed Race, held in proud partnership with the Collingwood BIA. More photos to come.
The event was filled with creativity, teamwork, laughter, and friendly competition, but most importantly, it brought our community together in support of compassionate hospice palliative care in South Georgian Bay.
Supporting the Community Bed Campaign
The Bed Race is part of Hospice Georgian Triangle's Community Bed Campaign, an initiative to replace 10 patient beds at Campbell House. These specialized beds provide comfort, dignity, and support for individuals and families during some of life's most important moments.
Every team that participated, every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who supported the event, and every spectator who cheered from the sidelines helped move us one step closer to that goal.
A special thank you to Hospice Mississauga for generously supplying the beds and race equipment that made this unique event possible, and to our community partners, volunteers, sponsors, and participants for embracing this inaugural event with such enthusiasm.
Together, we're helping ensure Campbell House continues to provide exceptional hospice palliative care for years to come.
Thank you for racing for a reason.
