We would like to take the opportunity to share how inspired we are by the power of teamwork. Each year, Hike & Bike teams come forward in a collective effort to fundraise and raise awareness. We could not meet our $175,000 goal without them.

Margot’s Motivators, Team Denis, Collingwood Curlers Care, and the Hospice Angels are off to an impressive start for the 2025 Hike & Bike. We are so grateful for the unique ways these teams come together to raise funds and advocate for the best quality hospice palliative care for our community.

Margot’s Motivators has been the top fundraising team over the most recent years. Sadly, Margot Brandreth passed away last September. We would like to honour Margot and recognize this team for their outstanding fundraising and participation. Thank you.

Margot’s team has been more than 100 strong and has raised $78,065 over the past three events. Margot was an incredible advocate for hospice palliative care. This year, Margot’s Motivators will be boosted by a special matching gift in memory of Margo. Special thanks to the charitable Trust, Given to Fly, for this thoughtful commitment.  To make a donation to Margot’s Motivators, click here

Collingwood Curlers Care. Members of the Collingwood Curling Club have stepped it up this year forming the team Collingwood Curlers Care. The team is busy raising funds and awareness for the mission of Hospice Georgian Triangle.

The Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation is pleased to share that this team also has double the impact! Thanks to the charitable trust, Given to Fly, donations to Collingwood Curlers Care will be matched. To make a gift to the Collingwood Curlers Care team click here

Team Dennis is back! Last year, Team Denis had 55 members, raising an impressive $11,643. Team Denis hikes and bikes in memory of Denis Kristolaitis, who loved his music. In fact, he and his wife Wendy, rocked the house their last night together at Campbell House. The theme song of Team Denis has become “Let it all go”.  This year, their team spirit continues to shine. Welcome back, Team Denis! Click here to donate.

Finally, we have the Hospice Angels who are made up of Hospice Georgian Triangle employees. It is inspiring to see this team come together year after year to connect outside of their roles at Hospice and fundraise for our mission. Special thanks to Trish Rawn who personally pledges $50 for each Hospice Angel participant. To make a pledge to the Hospice Angels click here.

If you’re looking to form a team this year, the time is now. Registration is easy. Click here to get started. Your participation makes all the difference in the lives of our patients and families. Thank you.
