Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of the new website:
The Foundation’s site is dedicated to providing information on the many ways to give to Hospice Georgian Triangle and the impact of these donations. Ways to give include making a one-time gift, a gift in memory, a gift in thanks, monthly giving, organising and participating in special events, estate planning, becoming a corporate partner and more.
Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation’s purpose is to raise the funds that allow Hospice Georgian Triangle fulfil its mission and provide exceptional hospice palliative care and community programming at no cost.
The government provides less than 50% of the cost to operate Hospice Georgian Triangle. We rely on the generosity of the community to provide care to people and their families with life-limiting illness.
The Foundation’s website www.hgtfoundation.com will be a place to learn how your donations make an impact, read about Hospice in the news, register for events, and learn ways to support that match your philanthropic goals and needs.
“The Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation website is a wonderful resource for anyone who is interested in supporting compassionate hospice palliative care in the towns of The Blue Mountains, Clearview, Collingwood and Wasaga Beach,” says Dr. Michael Sharpe, Board Chair.
“We wouldn’t be where we are today without the community. Donations funded 100% of the costs of building Campbell House and more than 50% of the operating costs of the operation,” Sharpe added.
In 2022, the Foundation must raise over $2 million to fund the operations at Hospice Georgian Triangle.
