DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of fun and fundraising supporting compassionate hospice palliative care\, those with life-limiting illnesses\, and their families.\nChoose to hike or bike 6K\, or bike 20k\, in the beautiful Collingwood trails and raise money for hospice care in our community. You donÕt have to be experienced to participate all skill levels are welcome! Your participation will provide comfort and compassion to those who need it the most. Funds raised will go directly towards providing care\, right in your backyard. \nAfter the hiking and biking\, a donated lunch will follow with music and prizes at the Collingwood Curling Club. \nHelp us reach our ambitious goal of raising $150\,000. Together\, we can make a difference. DESCRIPTION:Dave and Gail Gibbons are hosting a trivia night in support of Hospice Georgian Triangle‘s Campbell House hospice facility. \nIn addition to raising funds for a great cause\, the Gibbons hope to bring some sense of normalcy back to the community after the pandemic. The event promises to be a fun night out\, with questions covering a range of topics from math to entertainment to music. Even those who may not be the best at trivia will have a great time\, as the Gibbons promise to make the event entertaining and enjoyable for all. \nThe event will be held on March 28th at the Wasaga Beach United Church\, with tickets costing $10 per person. \nTeams can be groups of four or more\, and prizes will be awarded for first place and door prizes donated by sponsors. \nThe couple\, who have been hosting trivia nights since 2018\, have dedicated this month’s event solely to Hospice Georgian Triangle\, with all profits going towards the organization. \nFor more information or to order tickets\, contact the Gibbons at dggtrivia@gmail.com or call 705-429-1938.
